Alejandra Oria
Alejandra Oria founded her bridal atelier in Madrid in October 2020 and gave it her own name. The house calls itself a wedding dress label with a contemporary soul, one that draws on the wider fashion world and steps deliberately away from classic bridal aesthetics to make pieces with personality. Pure lines, renewed silhouettes and a particular sensitivity to carefully chosen fabrics are its stated pillars. As the designer puts it, the house does not make wedding dresses, it makes fashion for brides.
Everything is made entirely in Madrid, which the house says allows constant supervision and real flexibility through the whole process, with patterns cut by hand. Collection pieces are made to order by size; the atelier line is drawn for one bride at a time, from the first conversation through sketches, fabric selection and fittings. The collections run to linens, silks, jacquards and embroidered cottons, with hand-embroidered applications and hand-worked trims.
