Will a white swimsuit go see-through when it is wet?
A cheap one will. These are lined or cut in heavier Italian crinkle, terry and knit fabrics for exactly that reason, and the cream and off-white shades are far more forgiving than bright white. If it worries you, a cream one piece is the safest choice and a coverup handles the walk back from the water.
Can I buy a bikini top and bottom in different sizes?
Yes, for the styles sold as separate tops and bottoms, which is most of what we carry. The bottoms come in Brazilian, high waisted and hot pant cuts from the same range, so the look stays consistent even when the sizes do not match. A few styles are sold as complete sets instead.
Can I return swimwear?
No. Every swim piece on maebridal.com is final sale, for health and hygiene reasons, whatever a designer's own policy says. That is our rule rather than theirs. So do check the measurements and ask us if you are between sizes. Read our full return policy.
Can I see bridal swimwear in Los Angeles?
Swim is never tried on, for the hygiene reasons above. What we can do at 145 Bay St in Santa Monica, or over a video call, is show you the fabrics in daylight, which is the only real way to tell cream from off-white from white, and go through the measurements with you.
