Refund policy

Return & Exchange Policy

At Mae Bridal, we specialize in curating made-to-order and ready-to-wear pieces that are unique and hard to find anywhere else.

All made-to-order and final sale purchases are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Ready-to-wear items may be returned within 14 days of shipment in new, unworn condition with original tags attached. Please note we are a small business and returns do affect our bottom line, so we charge a $25 flat rate deducted from your refund to cover return shipping. 


Return Options

Ready-to-Wear Items

  • Eligible for return within 14 days of the shipment date
  • Must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Original tags must be attached
  • Must include all original packaging and accessories
  • Any item that shows signs of wear (stains, odor, missing tags, missing accessories, etc.) will not be accepted.

Made-to-Order & Bespoke Items

  • All sales are final. No returns or exchanges
  • This includes custom gowns, made-to-order accessories, and any item listed as bespoke, made-to-order, made-to-measure, custom
  • If returned, items will not be accepted and will be sent back at the customer's expense

Final Sale Items

  • Not eligible for return, store credit, or exchange
  • If returned, items will not be accepted and will be sent back at the customer's expense


How to Start a Return

To begin a return for an eligible item, email us within 14 days of your shipment date. Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.

Please include your order number and reason for return in your email. Returns initiated without prior approval will not be accepted.

 

Return Costs

  • U.S. returns: $25 flat rate deducted from your refund to cover return shipping. 
  • International returns: $50 USD flat rate deducted from your refund

All original shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Exchanges

Size Exchanges (Ready-to-Wear Only)

We offer direct size exchanges for ready-to-wear U.S. orders. To request a different size of the same item, contact us at team@maebridal.com within your 14-day return window. If the size is sold out, the item will need to be returned for a refund instead.

Customer covers all shipping fees for exchanges. 

Style Exchanges

We do not offer style exchanges at this time. Please process your item as a return and place a new order for the piece you would prefer.

Made-to-Order Items

Since all made-to-order items are bespoke and created uniquely for you, we do not offer exchanges. Please contact us with any questions prior to purchasing.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 10 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact us at team@maebridal.com for assistance.

 

Damages and Issues

We are committed to delivering the best experience for our customers. Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately at team@maebridal.com if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Our team will assess the issue and work to make it right. Damage requests will not be processed after 24hrs of delivery.

If returned without emailing us first, items will not be accepted and will be sent back at the customer's expense.


Made-to-order

Made-to-order items are created based on each designer’s standard sizing. Each item is handmade, so minor variations from online photos or showroom samples may occur and are not considered defects.

Additional alterations may be required for a tailored fit, including (but not limited to) hemming, bustle, and fit adjustments.


Custom Products

Custom-made products are exempt from general return eligibility under EU and U.S. regulations.
