DESIGNER
Kailee P. is a footwear house founded by two friends, Airin and Tammy, who began with a small shop for children's special occasion shoes. Brides and mothers kept asking for grown-up styles to match, and the bridal line grew out of those requests. The label is named for the founders' daughters, Kaitlyn, Haylee and Paige. It is known for wedding shoes made for a whole party, brides, bridesmaids and flower girls alike.
Every pair is designed and handcrafted by the house, in satin, lace, soft chiffon, pearl and crystal, with appliques worked by hand onto the upper. Comfort is built into the last rather than added later, and the range runs from flats and kitten heels through block heels and satin-laced sneakers. The signature detail is the ankle strap, made to be swapped, so one shoe can read plain for the ceremony and embellished after.
