About Designer
Krystell Barraza founded her label in Chicago in 2016, after studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and working with the designer Sorcha O'Raghallaigh in London. She chose to stay in the Midwest, away from the fashion capitals, so the work could move at her own pace. The house makes ready to wear, intimates and accessories in a romantic, nostalgic register drawn from her Mexican heritage and the landscape around her.
The accessories are worked mainly in silk: hair ties, scrunchies, bow and scarf scrunchies, headbands and scarves, in a deep and carefully edited color range. Pieces are made in the United States from materials sourced through responsible mills and woman owned textile collectives, chosen for their provenance as much as their hand. Design starts in the Chicago studio and the designer visits her production partners regularly. The signature is restraint with a soft finish.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To open a return, email team@maebridal.com and we will coordinate it with Krystell Barraza for you. Items sent back without a return authorisation cannot be refunded.
Items must be returned in new condition. Unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with original tags attached, and including all original packaging.
Return shipping is deducted from your refund at the rate stated in your return authorisation, typically $25.
Lingerie, intimates, swimwear, custom pieces and final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
