About Designer
Simitri is a handbag house founded in 2015 by sisters in law Gayatri Chopra and Simran Kaur, who started it at a dining table and now run it from Colleyville, Texas. Chopra, a NIFT graduate, leads the design. The house is known for clutches and handbags that refuse to be quiet, structured little shapes covered in sequins, fringe and embroidery, built on the idea that a bag should be an extension of the person carrying it.
Everything is handmade in India in small batches with artisan families whose techniques have passed down through generations: Kutch weaves, jacquard, zardozi and ikat, worked alongside metallic tassels, sequins and crystals. Many styles are built on a structured base, then covered by hand, stitch by stitch and sequin by sequin. The house works cruelty free and uses no animal skins. The signature is hard to miss, a bag that shines, shimmers or glows.

Returns for this item are processed by Simitri.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To open a return, email team@maebridal.com and we will coordinate it with Simitri for you. Items sent back without a return authorisation cannot be refunded.
Items must be returned in new condition. Unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with original tags attached, and including all original packaging.
Return shipping is deducted from your refund at the rate stated in your return authorisation, typically $25.
Lingerie, intimates, swimwear, custom pieces and final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
