Pearl Bridal Cape

• Luxurious bridal tulle, soft enough to drape without structure

• Steam the tulle on low, or hang the cape in a steamy bathroom, to drop fold creases. Keep the iron off the pearls.
• Keep perfume and hairspray off the pearls, and let both dry fully before the cape goes on.
• Store the cape hanging from the shoulders so the weight of the pearls does not set a crease across the tulle.
• The longer lengths sweep the floor behind you, so carry the end when moving between rooms.

Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

• Chapel, 80 inches, pools slightly on the floor behind you.
• Cathedral, 100 inches, extends well past the train.
• Cathedral wide, 100 inches long and 100 inches wide, extends well past the train and spreads across the width of it.
