About Designer
Shebobo was founded in 2011 by designer Kirsten Schipper and is based in San Francisco. The house makes raffia straw hats and bags, working directly with artisan weavers in Madagascar, where every piece is made by hand. It is woman owned and built around color, pattern and texture in natural fiber, and its own line sums the approach up plainly: made with heart, woven by hand.
The raffia is handwoven in Madagascar by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques, then finished into wide brim sun hats, fedoras and bucket shapes, and into totes, baskets, clutches and beach bags. Many of the hats are packable, so the brim folds down for a suitcase and comes back into shape. The signature is the palette: vibrant raffia hues worked into stripes, two tone brims and graphic patterning you can pick out from across a beach.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To open a return, email team@maebridal.com and we will coordinate it with Shebobo for you. Items sent back without a return authorisation cannot be refunded.
Items must be returned in new condition. Unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with original tags attached, and including all original packaging.
Return shipping is deducted from your refund at the rate stated in your return authorisation, typically $25.
Lingerie, intimates, swimwear, custom pieces and final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
