Sandshaped is a family run beachwear house with roots on the Aegean coast of Turkey, now working between Los Angeles and Istanbul. The label builds swim and resortwear in Italian fabrics, crochet, cotton gauze and fine knits, almost entirely in ivory, cream and white, which is exactly why it ended up in our showroom. A honeymoon or a wedding week needs its own uniform, and Sandshaped already thinks in the same palette we do.

What makes a Sandshaped resort piece different
Sandshaped works in a narrow, deliberate set of materials: Italian crinkle knits, hand crochet, broderie poplin and cotton gauze, almost always in ivory, cream or white. That restraint is the point. A crinkle swimsuit, a crochet maxi dress and a poplin midi dress can all be packed for the same trip and worn in the same handful of photos without ever looking mismatched. Pieces are made to move between the pool, the beach and dinner, which is the real test of a honeymoon wardrobe.
