• Ceramic chips if it is knocked against a hard surface, so store the pins and combs flat in a pouch or box
• Keep them away from hairspray, which dulls the glaze, and set them in place once your hair is finished

Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.
