Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

This piece is one size and adjusts to you through the ribbon ties.

• The vine measures approximately 14 inches across.
• The ribbons measure approximately 24 inches at each end, long enough to tie a bow at the back of the head.
• Worn as a headband, the ribbons tie under the hair at the nape.
• Worn as a hair vine, the ribbons can be cut off and the vine pinned into place.
• Worn as a belt, the ribbons tie at the back of the waist.
