Delicate Vintage Lace Sleeves

• Spot clean the lace only, or take the pair to a professional cleaner rather than washing them at home
• Let the sleeves air dry flat and away from direct heat, which can distort fine Chantilly lace
• Put them on after perfume, self tanner and hairspray have dried so the lace does not pick anything up
• Store the pair flat or loosely rolled so the scalloped edges keep their shape

Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

The sizes on these sleeves are bicep measurements, not veil lengths, so you are choosing the size that matches your own arm.

• Measure around the widest part of your bicep and select the closest measurement from the drop down menu.
• Sizes run from 9 inches to 17 inches, in half inch steps.
• If you are in between sizes, select the larger of the two.
• These sleeves have very little stretch to them and are meant to fit snug, so measure over bare skin and keep the tape comfortable rather than tight.
