Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

These are full lengths, so account for the scarf doubling and wrapping around your neck when you choose.

• Fingertip, 72 inches full length, will land around your hands when your arms are down.
• Waltz, 100 inches full length, will land between your knees and lower calves depending on your height.
• Ballet, 116 inches full length, will land between your lower calves and your ankles depending on your height.
• Chapel, 156 inches full length, will drag on the ground behind you, roughly 6 to 14 inches depending on your height.
• Cathedral, 198 inches full length, is the longest offered and trails furthest along the ground.
