• Steam on low or hang the veil in a steamy bathroom to release fold creases, and never set a hot iron on the tulle or on the pearls
• Keep the pearls away from perfume and hairspray, which dull their finish over time
• Store the veil hanging or loosely rolled rather than folded, so the pearls are not pressed into the tulle
• At 110 inches the tulle gathers dust along the floor, so carry the end when you move

Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

This veil is made in one size, so what you are choosing here is the pearl coverage and the cut.

• Length, 110 inches, a cathedral length that extends well past the train of your gown.
• Width, 100 inches, which gives the veil its circular shape and suits ballgowns and dramatic trains.
• Minimal Pearl, one size of pearls and fewer of them, for a lighter scatter.
• Dramatic Pearl, two sizes of pearls and more of them, for heavier coverage.
• Standard Cut and Angel Cut are both made at the same 110 inch length, so the cut changes how the veil drapes at the sides rather than how long it is.
