• Steam on low, or hang the veil in a steamy bathroom, to soften fold creases. Keep the iron away from the tulle and never press over the droplets.
• Keep hairspray and perfume off the droplets so the clear finish does not cloud.
• Store hanging, with both layers laid together, or loosely rolled. Folding sets creases around the hand placed droplets.
• Spot clean only, dabbing between the droplets rather than rubbing across them.

Tailored Tulle was founded in 2020 by Katie Valleau, its owner and designer, who began making veils while planning her own wedding and could not find the one she had in mind.

Drawing on a background in sewing and design, she built a small label in Portland, Oregon, where a team of women design and hand sew every piece to order, one at a time. Her signature is the finish: fine hand worked edges on light tulle, so every veil falls softly and every scarf drapes with ease. The range runs from veils in a spread of lengths to bridal scarves, capes, sleeves, hair combs and pins.

You are choosing the length. The dew drops fade out near fingertip length whichever length you pick, so the choice is how much plain tulle falls below them.

• Fingertip, 38 inches, falls at the fingertips with arms down.
• Waltz, 58 inches, falls between the knee and the ankle.
• Chapel, 90 inches, pools slightly on the floor behind you.
• Cathedral, 110 inches, extends well past the train.
