Only one bride tries on gowns at Mae at a time. Your appointment is private, unhurried, and entirely yours. There are no salespeople working on commission, no pressure to decide today, and no chaos. Just you, the people you brought with you, and a thoughtfully curated collection of dresses you won't find anywhere else in Los Angeles.
Our team, Claire and Karolina, takes the time to actually get to know you before pulling a single gown. Your aesthetic, your venue, your budget, your hesitations. We listen first. Then we dress you.
If you fall in love with something that needs a tweak, we'll go directly to the designer to make it happen. That kind of direct designer access is rare. At Mae, it's just how we work.
The Collection
Mae carries a carefully edited selection of independent and European bridal designers: labels you won't find at the big showrooms, chosen because they share a particular point of view: classic romantic softness with a modern, fashion-forward edge. Soft ivories and off-whites. Beautiful fabrics. Silhouettes that feel simultaneously timeless and entirely of-the-moment.
You'll find linen wedding dresses, silk slip gowns, sculptural styles, vintage-inspired designs, and everything in between. For the minimalist bride, the non-traditional bride, the bride who wants something unique but still elegant, and the bride who walked in not knowing what she wanted and left having found it.
We also work with a range of price points and materials. Finding your dress at Mae shouldn't mean compromising on what matters.

If you've already visited multiple boutiques and nothing has felt right, you're exactly who we had in mind. The overwhelm is real: too many options, too much noise, too little of the feeling you were hoping for. Mae is deliberately the opposite of that. A small, considered edit. A calm space. Many of our brides come to us from out of town, planning a Los Angeles bridal shopping trip and making Mae their final stop. Many of them find their dress in a single appointment.

Appointments are available throughout the week. We recommend booking in advance, though we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests for visiting brides.
